Rose Theatre
Client: An independent cinema in Port Townsend, WA, with a world-class lineup of movies, plays, ballets and operas from around the globe.
Work:
Creating website content for upcoming films, then using it to craft a weekly email newsletter showcasing upcoming screenings and events.
Crafting graphics and compelling copywriting to persuade subscribers to stream films.
Assisting with UX to streamline the newsletter and drive conversions.
Result: An engaging, informative website and newsletter with an open rate ~2x the industry average.

Project: A weekly personal newsletter featuring original stories about the offbeat histories behind everyday things.

Selecting and researching surprising topics on a weekly basis
